Labware sterilization (containment)

All labware exposed to potentially infectious materials must be sterilized prior to reuse. This is an inescapable fact – and Getinge has the solutions to facilitate it.

Working with infectious materials in the laboratory means that all labware exposed to those materials must be presumed to be contaminated and must therefore be sterilized before it can be cleaned and reused. This may be done locally, or centrally, depending on facility layout and handling system.

Getinge provides a variety of autoclaves to meet the wide variety of needs for decontamination of laboratory utensils used in work with infectious materials.
